Joseph and Emma lived in this house in Kirkland

Newel K. Whitney's store. Much in Church history took place here.

Mom, as a student in the School of The Prophets. Dad thinks she could have taught the class.

The famous store from the front.

The Kirkland Temple. Too bad we do not own it.

At Palmyra, we both loved the Sacred Grove the best of all the Church sites.

We went to the Sacred Grove early in the morning in order to miss the coming rain storm. Our guide took us part way and then told us how to walk through to the end, leaving us by ourselves to ponder the world changing event that took place there. It was a wonderful time for us. We know that The Father and The Son both appeared to the boy Joseph.

The Palmyra Temple viewed from the Sacred Grove.

The Grandin Press, where the Book of Mormon was first published. I am happy to say how precious the first edition was and is.

Book of Mormon Manuscript, in Oliver Cowdrey's handwriting.

The Print Shop.

We learned the meaning of "lower" and "upper" case letters.

A wonderful "mother and daughter" outing.

Here is a picture of our mission president and his wife. President and Sister Edward England from Idaho.

The view from our apartment on a cloudy day.

From the front window, a view of "Fresh Pond".

Dear Family,
After traveling and living out of a suitcase for a month, and crossing through 15 states, we have finally moved into our apartment! Since then Dad has put together 8 lamps, hooked up two computers, and has fully furnished our apartment with furniture from Target, Ikea, Costco, and the Mission President's basement. We love it. Stay tuned... pictures of our apartment coming soon.
Love,
Mom

Busy Busy Busy. YOu guys look and sound great! Thanks for the pictures!
School of the prophets - in a way Mom has taught it. Look at those six wonderful children and their faithfulness and understanding of the gospel. This experience will just broaden the circle of those that have learned at Mom and Dad's feet.
